tessellations part 2
We brought the tesselating stamps back out at Artschmart yesterday, and the experiments continued! One of the interesting things you can use the pattern block stamps for
(I learned yesterday) is making tile patterns that tesselate but don’t repeat, using just two shapes. These patterns are called aperiodic tilings, and if you had infinite tiles, you could keep going forever.
